Barnelopet

The Barnelopet is a ski/walk event for children 3-13 years old.

Everyone is a winner! It is a great outdoor family event.

2020 will mark the 21st year for the Barnelopet in Decorah.

Barnelopet 2023

Barnelopet 2023 was held Saturday, February 4. It was sponsored by Vesterheim Museum, Jon and Mary Hart, our lodge (Valheim) as well as the Lanesboro (Heimbygda) and Decorah (Valdres) lodges.

Thanks to the Hardt's generous donation, the event was FREE. Open to all 3-13 year olds, but you must bring your own skis.
